HOW WE STARTED
est. 2023
when Eunice got married, her husband Khai has an unspoken expectation for her to cook dinner every weekday.
after many meals, they both got bored of the same old flavour profiles.
then, she discovered a sauce that's entirely made with lemongrass.
so, she made a batch for personal use and kept them in jars.
friends who ate it convinced her to sell the extras.
the first jar was sold on 17 Nov 2023.

OTSATE is a punchy, lemongrass-forward sauce handmade in Malaysia using natural ingredients. It's your all-in-one marinade, stir-fry base, dip, or secret flavour weapon. We call it a sauce but our customers call it magic in a jar.

Original – Our OG flavour. Lemongrass, slight heat, balanced and versatile.
Pure – Allium-free (no garlic, no onion), vegan-friendly, perfect for those on a low-FODMAP diet or with sensitive tummies.
Spicy – Like the Original, but dialed up for chili lovers. Fragrant heat that lingers (in a good way).
Vegan – Like the Original, without fish sauce.
How do I use it?

- Tossed into stir-fries or noodles
- Mixed into dressings or mayo for a quick dip

Yes! Once opened, keep your OTSATE in the fridge and use a clean spoon each time. It’s preservative-free, so treat it like a fresh product. Stored properly, it can last up to 3 months after opening.
